Beta Glucan
Beta Glucan is a component that helps maintain immune balance. Beta Glucan is a high quality pure extract from Baker’s Yeast.
Beta 1,3–D glucan is a polyglucose structure found in the cell wall of baker’s yeast.
Due to its unique linkage, beta-glucan binds to specific receptors on phagocytes and NK cells and induces changes in their metabolism (Yan 1999). Supporting these primary, front-line defenders provides for early immune system detection of infections, cancer cells and improved healing processes. There are several discoveries that provide a solid link between Beta Glucan and tumor immunity (DiRenzo 1991, Diamond 1993).
