Skin Care and FAQ - by Ina K. Tate What is the best way to cleanse the skin before applying Formula III? |

1. Cleanse the face with soap and water or a cleansing cream if you normally use one. 2. Follow with 3% hydrogen peroxide soaked in cotton balls. Use a gentle, massaging motion. The peroxide restores the skin to it's natural acid condition. 3. Place a hot towel on the face and neck for 30 seconds to open up the pores of the skin. 4. Apply the Formula III lotion over the entire face and neck. A reddening of the face is normal due to the vasodilation by the niacin (Vitamin B-3). The helps bring the blood to the surface where Langerhans cells (macrophages) detoxify and regenerate the skin. This normal biological response is activated by the Beta 1,3-D glucan, Acemannan, and MSM. (see tri-fold brochure #1030) 5. In some cases a skin peeling occurs the first time Formula III is used. It's recommend that you keep using Formula III as the skin regeneration will proceed more effectively. |
